Practice I Accept to tell Radovid about Philippa?
Practise I HAVE to tell Radovid about Philippa?
I'd adopt to not tell him anything, but I have the distinct impression I have to tell him in society to conclude the quest "Redania's About Wanted". I was tasked with finding Philippa Eilheart, and though I did find her hideout and a megascope crystal, I don't want to become back to Radovid and tell him about it. Instead, I'd similar to go to Triss and bear witness her the crystal. Alas, I already completed the mage-rescuing quest involving Triss, then I don't know if I can talk to her over again.
The reason I inquire is considering I'd like to go on the plot to assassinate Radovid, just from what I've read I need to complete this quest (Redania'southward About Wanted) before that can progress.
Can someone advise me?

That's probably because you lot didn't become to Skellige all the same. If you did go to Skellige then it'south strange just I can assure yous you can requite it to her then no worries.

I *call up* you can complete the quest and only lie to Radovid, then requite the crystal to Yen later, but I'one thousand not sure.
The Prima Guide doesn't say, and I could be wrong. I've never tried it that mode.

Exercise I have to give information technology to Yen, though? I hate that bowwow. I want to give it to Triss, though I don't know where she is after she decided to stay after rescuing the mages.

Only I saw someone else give it to Triss, on a playthrough I'm watching on YouTube. The difference is that this other player gave it to Triss before the rescuing of the mages, so I don't know if I can all the same requite it to her later on having rescued the mages.
In gild to give the crystal to Triss, y'all must do so earlier completing the 'At present or Never' quest in Novigrad. I don't call back the option ever appears again. Also, to answer to @Dragonbird 's request for confirmation, as far as I know, yes, you tin can prevarication to Radovid and keep the crystal to requite to Yen subsequently.

But exercise I understand this correctly: I can only proceed on the path to assassinate Radovid after I terminate the quest where I have to give Radovid the crystal (or prevarication to him about it)? Because I have no other quests in my log related to the assassination. I met Thaler in the troll cavern and and then information technology all just sort of fizzled out and I oasis't heard anything since... wondering if I did something wrong.
yeah, you lot need to complete this quest if y'all want to kill radovid
But even when you practise, information technology will nevertheless seem "fizzled out" for a while.
Equally far as I know, information technology is not required to give the crystal to Yennefer, but if you lot do give information technology to i of the sorceresses, and so you get a cutscene of reading the crystal and a conversation well-nigh the Order, which is more or less the same either way. If you want to come across the Triss version, then you may need a save from before starting A Affair of Life and Death, and and so just continue from the more contempo save since what you do with the crystal is otherwise not of much consequence. I do not think information technology is a problem if you give the crystal to Radovid or only lie and go on it for yourself (it is useless, though).
To assassinate Radovid, you need to complete Reason of Land later in the game, and the requirements for doing that are:
- A Deadly Plot needs to be completed, and you must not pause Dijkstra's leg in Blindingly Obvious
- to trigger A Mortiferous Plot, you demand to consummate Now or Never (at the stop of the quest, Dijkstra approaches Geralt with the assassination plot, either at the lighthouse or at the docks)
- Now or Never becomes bachelor after A Matter of Life and Death and A Favor for Radovid are both done
I think An Middle for an Heart is non required, but if Ves is not rescued, and then she volition not be in Reason of State.
